"shot failed" with Canon R5

Post by Sockeye »

I got this lovely message in 2 situations.

1. Shooting bulb in star tracking mode. (Interval 5 Seconds)
When having set the R5 to "RAW + JPG(L) the amount of data seems to be to big. Reducing the JPG size to S1 helped.

2. Panorama
Using autofocus. When the R5 cannot focus (on this centrally fixed point) the shot will fail and the panorama will reset.
Switching to manual focus on the R5 and on the Polaris does the trick.
